Get a flat-pack portakabin 'home office' as well.

my old man bought a trio of those old "temporary" classrooms we all had at school
and converted them into a flat while he was building his luxury pile in the country.

Three years later and they're still there, serving as a charming lawn ornament from across the patio.

couldn't they be used to house the servants?

apparently they can't be used to house anyone lest the council turn up and demand massive extra taxes
and the old man is too lazy to bung them back on ebay

We called them the 'rabbit hutches'.
They're not cheap either. I saw a thing on George Clarke's Amazing Spaces and they wanted a fortune for them, so some ambitious young teacher decided to buy a scrapped cessna for fuck all and convert that to a 'learning space'.
