I have cheerfully informed people
"I know people who write them, and they told me they make it all up"

I always, always, always get the response "But some of them are real psychics, you only know the fake ones".

I have more than once demonstrated cold reading or other 'psychic' skills to these people. While I perform them I am told 'WOW, HOW DID YOU KNOW THAT' and when I explain that it is all trickery I normally get a response along the line that I probably am psychic and I just wont accept my own powers.

Christ sake people! It's ALL a lie! There are no psychics it's all trickery! There is no magic, it's all trickery! AND FOR GOD SAKE! THERE IS NO HYPNOTISM!!!!!! grrr *steams*
