"Polite Notice"Somehow putting this at the top of a lengthy hectoring missive offends me. Said notices are usually anything but concise and polite.

I was always told......by my parents that this was put there so that people who read it quickly thought it said 'Police notice' and therefore seemed more official and scary. A grain of truth in there methinks given the standard of reading these days.
