simply because they are comfy. They hang nicely below my big fat belly instead of cutting into it. I look like shit in them, though. But I've reached the age where comfort takes precedence over looks ;o)

bumsters were far, far worse. Skin from Skunk Anansie wore a pair (on TFI Friday, I think) and they were fucking hideous. Six inches of arse crack poking above the parapet, so to speak.
