I'm going to lay on my deathbead and wish I'd spent LESS time hearing that bit of wisdom.
I don't know how overused it is in the UK, but here in the States it's only second in the Overused and Horrifying Cliche Cup to "Every moment is a gift, that's why they call it the present."
