If you are black, then surely it's not an insult to be described as such? If I was described as "white bloke" it wouldn't even enter my head to take offence at it.
But what amused me is... look at the receipt, the 4th item down... now there's a stereotype about black people! :D

i think the point they were trying to make was they were the only people dining upstairs...seems a bit odd to point out they are black if noone else is up there :P
Also the daily fail comments section hasnt changed much I see...all the racist/right wing comments get rated highly, all the sensible, more liberal ones get voted as terrible :)

other couples had come in while they were having their starters?
And yeah, I think the site probably is on every BNP member's favourites list. Quite surprising they ran this story really... more what I would expect in the Guardian...

My friend John works in IT, he's gay, but he's not the kind of gay you can see coming, if you get my meaning. One of John's workmates has a bit of a problem with his sexuality and when someone came by asking how to recognise him amongst the others in the office he replied, 'He's the gay one'. Cue the visitor going straight up to John's boss, who's straight as a die but posh of voice and manner, and asking him if he's John.
John is the only one in the office who's got hair down to his ass and at 6ft 4" is by far the tallest, he's not exactly hard to spot nor describe.
It is rather easy to show your own prejudices via your own descriptions of someone, I can see how some folks might need to have a think about it before they speak (or in the above case, type).

but couldn;t they have used: "spotty forehead" instead or would that of been more insulting then mentioning their skin colour?
