after a little bit of preparation it is now ready for teh compo.
She's 11 by the way so no absolute rudeness please... I'd like her to be able to see comments on her work.

I did a little bit of "technical consultancy" for the animation
but you can bet this time next year she'll be flying solo.
Your girls' lego films were full of ROFL as well, maybe we have the future of British Cinema in our respective houses right now :-)

Under two weeks left!
Sadly we can't use our own music at the pub though:(

if I brought along a very modest 'lounge background music' system, could we?
budget surround sound system for tiny PCs , a subwoofer the size of a biscuit tin...? I'm giving it to Kenny and Jessie for their Derby bash anyway... it has a 3.5mm jack input so anyone with an MP3 player or discman can power it, then all we need is 240 volts... ask o'Neills?

They say they can't as they have no entertainment licence.
Something I happen to know casot 106 squid a year!
EDIT: I have just done some digging and the very fact that theyplay music in the pub demands they need an entertainment licence.
Plus I know one of the barmaids so I'll see what we can do.

I will pay them the £2.05 it costs for tha tweekend if they're soo uptight :-)
what if we only play original music of our own devisings? I have at least 15 minutes of crap
oh p.s. it's not just 15 minutes of crap sounds. well it is. but not sounds of Craps.

I'll talk to them later.
I've got a 12 and 6 string that I'm sure we can put to good use at the barbie.

surely if they want 86 extra people (well perhaps 85 if you're a regular)
at your venue they can work out the bloody financial advantage.
Also, we will complain about their lack of entertainment licence which will cost them far more dearly in the long run.
I am a freelance journalist (well, I used to be) so we don't want to have to complain about having the entertainment facilities curtailed.
sock it to 'em, tin-tin
EDIT and I look forwards to seeing the world's first 18-string player at teh barbie :-)

You want to check out Antonio Forcione
I worked with him about 8 years ago and he played a 42 string live:P Plus he used the body for full percussion:P
EDIT: Sorry my mistake. I did the maths and it was 50 string; it comprised of a 6 string, a 12 string and a Greek uze. Yes he did play them togeather:P
I would let you play with my baby but it was stolen a while back (Martin 00016GTE)

Surely you wouldn't need an entertainments licence for that Yourallgay track anyway.
As it's not commercial music and thus you don't need any royalty public playing based licence.

It's not to do with the copywrite or the commercial value
It's a way that the council take an integral part of a situation and hold it to random.
